Dr. Emily Nguyen obtained her Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. She further advanced her education at the Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health, where she received advanced training in oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, oral-facial pain diagnosis and treatment, laser dentistry, and management of medically compromised patients.
Originally from Toronto, she decided to return and establish her roots here and has been practicing for more than five years in Ontario.
Dr. Emily comes from a family of dentists and, since, at a young age, she knew she also had a passion for dentistry. Her goal is to create individualized treatment plans for her patients to improve their oral health and provide them with a confident smile.
Staying involved in the dental community is a priority for Dr. Nguyen. She is a member of the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Royal College of Dental Surgeons in Ontario, and the Arizona Dental Association. With the belief that giving back to the community is essential, Dr. Nguyen has also participated in multiple community outreach programs, such as Give Kids A Smile, Day for Special Smiles, and Mission of Mercy.
When she is not attending her patients, she enjoys playing tennis, reading, and sewing crafts.
