Lasers
Lasers are used to help treat conditions of the tissue that would otherwise need to be treated with a scalpel. They are used today to treat ulcers (cancer sores), remove fibrotic tissue, treat enlarged blood vessels and treat gum disease. Lasers allow us to work sometimes without anesthetic (freezing) and heals faster. Laser can also be used along with professional cleaning in order to reduce the numbers of bacteria in the periodontal pocket. Ask the staff if you could benefit from such treatment.
